Lumifi, formerly known as BrightOak Energy, is a values-first financial institution that offers services and products that benefit both people and the planet. They specialize in solar lending and empower customers to invest in environmentally responsible initiatives by providing thoughtful products and extraordinary service. We had the privledge of working alongside the Lumifi team to deliver key components of their brand launch. This expansive campaign included a new website, trade show booth design & sourcing, updated sales collateral, updated salesforce email templates, photo & video production, merchandise design & sourcing, and facilitating the print production of all new materials.
With the foundational brand established we got to work designing a website that would serve to build brand awareness and increase partner acquisitions. With a focus on user experience in both mobile and desktop, the website came to life through a playful illustration style, intentional animations and movement, and thoughtfully executed lifestyle photography. The sleek black and white typography and background are balanced with lively gradient color bursts and natural scene illustrations. Thoughtfully designed and developed, Lumifi.com is banking reimagined.
While creating the brand we were stuck sorting through a slew of impersonal stock photos that poorly represented banking and business transactions in the modern, digital world. We knew there was a way to capture photography that reflected the Lumifi approach; it’s about real people, trying to make the best decisions for them, their families, and the planet. We planned a two-day photoshoot with our friends at Starboard & Port to capture digital product interactions and sun-soaked moments of families and homes that emulate the modern human experience.
The body of work for Lumifi is one we’re deeply proud of. It was testament to our teamwork and dedication to a vision. Thank you to our friends at Starboard & Port for making a photoshoot in the heat of summer feel like a breeze, and to all the minds and hearts who brought the project to life.
